Kingsland KOA Weekend Getaway
Finally a Weekend Getaway!
Yes, I finally had a weekend off from my new job. Since the new job is out towards the beach area, we did something different this time. That was instead of driving all the way back home to hitch up the RV and then head back. I took the RV with me that Friday, so once off work that afternoon, all I needed to do is head north to Kingsland Georgia. My wife’s game plan was to pick up the grand kids after she got off work and meet me there.
A Long Relaxing Weekend
Actually it turned out to be longer than the weekend, since my next scheduled shift back at work was Tuesday. So once my wife got the ok to also be off on Monday, we opted to stay another night. The grand kids spent most of the time at the pool while we both just sat back and relaxed watching them have a good time.
For us, this was the perfect campground for what we wanted on a short notice. Fort Clinch State Park was our first choice, however getting a site there on short notice can be difficult. For others, this would probably be a perfect stopping point when leaving or coming to Florida. Right off interstate 95 with many pull thru sites and full hookups, some even with 50amp service. Reservations shouldn’t be needed and they even have free Wi-Fi.
